The Challenge
What’s At Stake for Your Team
Burnout doesn’t stay contained to morale. It shows up in the work itself.
- Mindfulness Works
Research shows mindfulness reduces stress, builds resilience, and improves focus — when taught with human guidance and supervised practice. - But Most Programs Fail
Most training is one-and-done, no practice, no follow-up. It doesn’t change behavior long-term. - Our Approach Drives Results
Human-led training in small groups using an evidence-based curriculum developed at Duke University over 20 years.
WHY MIEA WORKS
How We Support Your Team
A curriculum backed by 20 years of research only works if people actually finish it. Small groups and a certified instructor mean someone’s paying attention to whether you show up.
Why MIEA Works
- Evidence-Based
Developed at Duke University over 20 years. Validated through multiple randomized controlled trials, and shown to reduce reported workplace stress by 30%. - Human-Led
Expert instructors and small groups drive 82% completion. Someone’s actually there, paying attention. - Designed for Today
Built for how people actually work now, distracted, overloaded, and skeptical of one more thing to do. - Trusted at Scale
Trusted by 300+ organizations worldwide. 79,000+ participants trained.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is mindfulness, and how can it benefit my organization?
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware in the moment. Our workplace mindfulness training teaches employees these skills in a structured, evidence-based format.
In the workplace, mindfulness training boosts focus, reduces stress, strengthens communication, and builds emotional resilience across teams and leaders.
What’s the difference between Steady Minds and the Steady at Work Cohort?
The core difference is format and support level.
Steady Minds is a self-guided version of MIEA’s Intro to Mindfulness course. Your people work through the 4-week curriculum at their own pace, with access to the MIEA mobile app, a practice book, and the Wednesday Meditation Circle — live bi-monthly sessions with Dr. Holly Rogers. It’s a great starting point for individuals or teams exploring mindfulness for the first time.
The Steady at Work Cohort delivers the same foundational content, adapted for the workplace and structured for live group delivery. A certified MIEA instructor guides 12–15 participants through weekly sessions together — with real-time feedback, peer accountability, and a curriculum designed specifically for professional settings. Pricing is custom based on your team’s needs.

Who leads the mindfulness training sessions?
Every session is led by a certified MIEA instructor—experts in mindfulness and workplace development who translate research into practical, real-world strategies.
Can the training be customized for our needs?
Absolutely. We’ll tailor your program around your goals—whether you’re focusing on team connection, leadership development, or stress reduction.
Will employees need to commit a lot of time?
Our core program is 75 minutes per week for four weeks, plus 10-minute daily practices.
We also offer single workshops and shorter formats if you need something more flexible.
Is this just for employees—or can leaders benefit too?
Yes—mindfulness benefits everyone.
Our Steady at Work™ program works for all levels. We can design programs specifically for leadership cohorts or mixed teams depending on your needs.
